Founder, playwright, and producer — thirty years on stage

The Producer

Mrs. Barbara I. Hendrix has spent more than thirty years in production. Long before there was a company name on the program, she was staging plays for her church and her community — building casts out of the people in the pews and the neighborhood, and putting on shows families could come to together.

Isbell Ladi Productions LLC carries that same work forward. She leads every production herself, from first draft to final bow, and writes for audiences of all ages: the kind of evening where three generations leave the theatre still talking about the same scene.

“A stage is only borrowed for a night. What an audience carries home is the part that keeps.”
